President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his heartfelt condolences to the former First Lady, Maryam Abacha, and her family over the death of their son, Abdullahi.
This was contained in a statement issued by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to president Buhari , on Saturday.
SOLACEBASE reports that Abdullahi, the son of late former head of state, Sani Abacha, died in his sleep on Saturday.

A tweet by his sister, Gumsu Abacha, announced the death.
“The President’s prayers and thoughts are with the family of Abacha as they grieve the passing of the young Abdullahi,’’ the statement said.
“The President prays for the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for those who mourn”.
