President Muhammadu Buhari was on Monday presented with the minutes of the meetings of the National Minimum Wage Negotiation Tripartite Committee.
A Presidency source disclosed this to reporters on the condition of anonymity.
The document was said to have been submitted to the President by members of the organised labour.
Recall that there has been disagreement over whether the committee indeed agreed to increase the national minimum wage to N30,000.
While the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, claimed that no such decision was reached, Labour leaders said that was the agreement reached by the committee.
It was learnt that the Presidency demanded the document in order to ascertain the true position on the matter.
Labour unions had on Sunday expressed their readiness to embark on indefinite industrial action from November 6 if the government failed to take the necessary steps to announce the new minimum wage of N30,000.
