BUK recognizes outstanding performance, honours immediate past Deputy Dean, Student Affairs

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has honoured Dr Hajara Umar-Sanda of the Faculty of Communication for her outstanding performance as Deputy Dean, Students Affairs for two terms.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Sagir Abbas stated while presenting the award and letter of commendation to Dr Hajara Umar Sanda at a brief ceremony held at the Deanery of Student Affairs on Wednesday.

Solacebase reports that according to the letter signed by Anisatu Uwais Muhammad, Deputy Registrar and Secretary, Student Affairs on behalf of Dean, Student Affairs, said BUK found it necessary to honour the awardee for her commitment, dedication and hard work in moving the Student Affairs forward when she held sway as the Deputy Dean, Student Affairs.

“Following the expiration of your tenure as Deputy Student Affairs, I write on behalf of the Deanery and Management of Student Affairs to express our profound gratitude and appreciation for your commitment, dedication and hard work in moving the Student Affairs forward.
