Chaos : DSS saves situation as blasphemous singer apologizes

Another Blasphemous Singer, Ahmad Abdul, whose song created near chaos and violence reactions from Kano residents has openly apologized to entire Muslims Umma, Kano Government, and Islamic Scholars.

The Singer Ahmad Abdul who was detained by the Department of State Security (DSS) to avoid allowing his presence in Public create more violent reactions,  said while been granted conditional bail by the DSS, that he regretted his Songs which was not screen by the Kano State Censorship Board.

Solacebase reports that a musician in Kano State,  Yahaya Sharif-Aminu was sentenced to death by hanging for blaspheming against the Prophet Muhammad in August 2020 by an Upper Sharia court

‘’ I never knew my Song was against Islamic teachings and could course uproar, I wouldn’t have done it, but now, i understand and accepted my mistakes and I’m hereby tendering apologies to Kano People, Ullamas, Government and the State Censorship Board, Ahmed Abdul said.

Commenting while witnessing the bail condition signing at the DSS Headquarters in Kano, the Executive Secretary of the State Censorship Board Ismaila Naaba Afakallah said he received hundreds of petitions against the song released by Ahmad Abdul.

According to him,  after realizing the gravity of the song against the position and believes of Kano People, Ullamas and Government, I reported the musician to DSS who swung into action and arrested him at a hotel where he was hiding for days.

The Executive Secretary added that several uncensored Songs are been confiscated from many Youth groups who took to singing as a business.

Ahmad’s father, Alhaji Abdullahi Isa thanks the DSS for their timely response on the matter which saved a possible outbreak of law and order.
