CORRECTED: Abducted Jangebe schoolgirls in Zamfara to regain freedom soon-Official
The kidnapped schoolgirls of the Government Secondary School in Jangebe, Zamfara State are yet to regain their freedom.
The state government in a statement issued on Sunday by Press Secretary, Office of the Governor, Jamilu Iliyasu B/Magaji said efforts are been made to ensure their safe return.
The statement said it was a flimsy imagination of a newspaper reporter in Zamfara state who initiated the rumour of the release latched on by some online media outlets.
Solacebase reports that over 300 schoolgirls were abducted in the early hours of Friday from their hostels.
