The Legislative Council of Dambatta Local Government in Kano state has suspended the council acting Chairman and Vice Chairman Alhaji Musa Sani Dambatta for six months.
This was contained in a letter signed by the leader of elected Councilors’ in the council Hamisu Magaji Galadima dated 7th May, 2018.
The letter obtained by Solacebase on Tuesday also with the signatures of nine other councilors accused the suspended acting Chairman Musa Sani Dambatta of disrespecting the legislative council of the local government, exposing the local government council official secret ,conniving with some people to create chaos in the council and acting contrary to the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Solacebase recalled that Kano House of Assembly on Monday suspended the Council Chairman Alhaji Idris Haruna Zago appointing Alhaji Musa Sani Dambatta as acting Chairman.
The letter said the suspension takes effect from 5th May,2018 to 7th November ,2018.
