COVID-19: Foundation Supports 7500 Vulnerable With Food Stuff In Kano
Widi Jalo Foundation on Sunday supported over 7500 people with food items to alleviate the challenges of the vulnerable with the one-week lockdown in Kano.
The founder of the Charity Organisation, Alhaji Abubakar Widi Jallo said the initiative was aimed at ameliorating the difficult situation of the vulnerable during the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He explained that he started the gesture from his Facebook page where he donated 100 thousand and people starting making other contributions as well.

He promised to sustain the gesture as more contributions come in.
One of the beneficiaries at Sabuwar Gandu in Kumbotso Local Government area of Kano State, Malama Khadija expressed happiness over the gesture as she has nothing in the house to feed her children as she is into frying baked beans by the roadside and with lockdown she has to stay indoor
She called on other philanthropists to emulate the gesture.
