The police authorities in Kogi State say they have re-arrested three of the six suspects who broke out of custody on Wednesday
Newly appointed Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Esa Ogbu, confirmed the development to reporters but declined to give the names of the re-arrested suspects.
It is unclear if the two suspects who accused Senator Dino Melaye of supplying them guns are among the three suspects re-arrested.
Solacebase learnt that the suspects were re-arrested earlier today at an undisclosed location.
It was gathered that two of the suspects sustained gun shot wounds when they attempted to flee from the police.
They were said to be receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, as of the time of filling this report.
