The National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Kano has ordered fresh election at Tsamiya Polling Unit under Mariri Ward of Kumbotso federal constituency, setting aside the electoral victory of Munir Dan’Agundi, a house of representatives member under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ibrahim Umar Ballah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had filed a petition challenging the election of Munir Dan’Agundi for failure to score the majority of lawful votes cast.
