The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on Sunday conferred the Nigeria’s Senate President with the title of Waziri of Ilorin.
Solacebase reports that the Emir stated this at a special prayer session holding at the Ilorin Emir’s Palace.organised in honour of the Senate President on his victory at the Supreme Court .
Solacebase recalled that all the first class traditional rulers in Kwara State on Saturday paid solidarity visit on the Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki,
The monarchs were led by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari. He said the visit was to pledge all traditional rulers in the state’s solidarity and support to Dr Saraki.
The Emir who spoke on behalf of all the traditional rulers praised the Senate President for his courage and doggedness for withstanding the weathers throughout his three years trial on assets declaration at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
According to him, the period of the trial was not easy, unless if someone is blessed by Almighty Allah to withstand it.
The Emir prayed Allah to continue to bless him, guide him to continue the work.
