Kabiru Bayero, the son of Emir of Kano Aminu Bayero, has proposed to the daughter of a famous Sokoto politician and businessman, Ummarun Kwabo.
Mr Bayero, a Business Administration graduate, is the eldest son of the emir.
According to DAILY NIGERIAN a high powered delegation from the Kano and Bichi Emirates arrived in Sokoto on Saturday to seek the hand of Aisha Ummarun Kwabo in marriage to Kabiru Aminu Bayero.
The Kano delegation, headed by the Wazirin Kano Sa’ad Gidado, include Sarkin Dawaki Maituta Kano, Abubakar Bello Tuta; Dan Isan Kano, Kabiru Tijjani Hashim; Dandarman Kano, Bello Bayero and; Kachallan Kano, Magaji Galadima.
