Alhaji Abubakar said that the gesture could not come at a better time than now when Nigerians were facing various challenges, including the economic hardship.

The royal father, who is the Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers,  said the Gov. Umar Bago’s gesture would go a long way in alleviating the suffering of the people.

The Etsu Nupe added that the month of Ramadan was the most auspicious for the wealthy individuals, government and other corporate organisations to extend their support to the less priveledged.

He, therefore, urged those in charge of managing the centres and the distribution of the palliatives to do so with absolute piety. According to Etsu Nupe, those who are given the mandate of preparing items for breaking of the fast and sharing of the palliates should do so with absolute fear of Almighty Allah and remember the day of reckoning.
