Former Kano State Commissioner Information and Land in Kano Mallam Garba Yusuf has lost his Mother, Khadijat Yusuf.
Hajiya Khadijat Yusuf died at the age of 99 on Monday in Kano City.
Her son, who was a Commissioner during Mallam Shekaru’s administration, confirmed the death to Journalists.
He said she died after a brief illness.
Hajia Khadijat is survived by her children, Mallam Garba, Hajiya Asma’u, Hajia Aisha, Mallama Hajara Yusuf and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral prayers was attended by religious leaders, traditional rulers, top politicians, businessmen and family friends.
