The All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari floored the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar in Kano State with more 1,073,195 margins.
Announcing the results early on Tuesday, the Collation Officer for the Presidential election in Kano, Prof. Magaji Garba, said the elections were conducted peacefully across the 44 local government areas of the state.
Prof. Magaji Garba said that the APC Presidential candidate polled 1,464,768 to defeat the PDP candidate who had 391,593 votes.

Solacebase reports that the three Senatorial seat was won by the APC Candidates. Kabiru Gaya was reelected to represent Kano South, as well as Barau Jubrin now a two time Senator for Kano North, while former governor Ibrahim Shekarau won Kano Central.
