Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has appointed Bala Muhammad Inuwa to oversee the affairs of Kano Internal Revenue Service on a temporary basis pending the appointment of substantive Executive Chairman for the agency.
Solacebase reports that Bala Muhammad Inuwa is the Managing Director, Kano Agricultural Supply Company (KASCO).
A letter signed by Secretary to The State Government Alhaji Usman Alhaji dated March 8th, 2020 directed the overseer of the KIRS to take over with immediate effect.
Solacebase had reported the resignation of the KIRS, Alhaji Sani Abdulqadri Dambo on Thursday but a source told this paper that the agency Chairman was suspended on Wednesday capacity pending the conclusion of the investigation into anomaly observed in the organization.
