Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has approved the posting of Permanent Secretaries from their current ministries to other ministries. As well as the posting of newly Sworn-In four Permanent Secretaries to ministries for their official engagement.
He charged all the Permanent Secretaries to work harder and continue repositioning the civil service for better service delivery, emphasising that, “Being the engine room of the state civil service, you are always expected to be up and doing.”
A statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abba Anwar on Sunday said while charging them to employ modern technology in discharging their responsibilities, he maintains that “You must make sure that you comply with the global best practice. Use of IT is equally significant and necessary.”
The statement said the new postings are as follows: Balarabe H. Karaye from Ministry of Budget and Planning to Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Adamu Abdu Faragai from Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources to Ministry of Environment, Binta Umar Bala from Ministry of Health to Ministry of Science and Technology and Auwalu Umar Sanda from Ministry of Women Affairs to Deputy Governor’s Office.

It said others are Amina A. Musa from Ministry of Science and Technology to Ministry of Health, Fatima Fulani Sarki Sumaila newly Appointed Permanent Secretary Posted to Manpower Development, Office of Head of Service, Amina Aminu Kano from Ministry of Water Resources to Ministry of Women Affairs, Abba Lawan Kailani from Establishment Directorate, Office of the Head of Service to Ministry for Rural and Community Development and Umar Liman Albasu newly appointed Permanent Secretary posted to Ministry of Housing and Transport
It added that Kabiru Sa’idu Magami newly appointed Permanent Secretary posted to Ministry for Special Duties and Abba Mustapha Dambatta newly appointed Permanent Secretary posted to Ministry of Budget and Planning, and Hussaini Umar Ganduje from Ministry for Special Duties to Ministry of Water Resources
‘’While congratulating them in their new postings, governor Ganduje directed them to work closely with all category of workers in their ministries. Assuring that, “We, from our part, will do everything possible to support new ideas and hardwork,’’ said the statement.
