Ganduje Directs Emir Sanusi To Reassign Four King Makers

Kano State Government has directed Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II to initiate the process of assigning four Kingmakers as District Heads to local governments under the jurisdiction of Kano Emirate.

This was contained in a letter dated March 2, 2020, signed by Secretary to Kano State Government  Alhaji Usman Alhaji and titled ‘’ Assigning The Former Kano King Makers To Relevant Local Government Council Under The Jurisdiction Of Kano Emirate’’

According to the letter received on March, 4  addressed to Emir Muhammadu Sanusi, following the creation of four Emirates and other certain development, the four Kingmakers are presently under Kano Emirate.

Solacebase reports that in the letter, the affected four Kingmakers listed include, Alhaji Mukhtar Adnan, Alhaji Yusuf Nabahani Ibrahim Chigari, Alhaji Abdillahi Ibrahim and Alhaji Abubakar Bello Tuta.

It added that the Emir is required to implement the posting of the Kingmakers to the relevant local governments after approval of the governor.
