Ganduje may replace Adamu as APC National Chair

President Bola Tinubu is  said to be looking towards former Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje as a suitable replacement for the position of erstwhile national chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.

It was gathered on Wednesday night that Ganduaje’s name has been dropped from Tinubu’s ministerial nominees list.

Sources said that Tinubu is highly satisfied and comfortable with Ganduje as Chairman of the party.

Meanwhile , APC governors are currently locked in a meeting to discuss the state of affairs of the party.

Some of those at the meeting which is holding at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro Abuja are the host governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum PGF, Senator Hope Uzodinma of Imo state; Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state; Umar Bago (Niger); Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi); Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara); Acting Ondo state Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa; Fr. Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Una Sani (Kaduna); Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos); Mai Mala Buni (Yobe); and Dikko Radda (Katsina).
