Ganduje should stop creating crisis in APC, Sha’aban Sharada alleges

Kano Municipal Federal Constituency Representatives at the National Assembly, Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada has accused All Progressives Congress leadership in the state of trying to frustrate him from revalidating his membership of the party.

Shaaban  Sharada made the allegation while addressing journalists on Monday during his visit to Government Secondary School Salanta, Sharada to revalidate his membership of the All Progressives Congress but could not find any member of the committee at the venue.

The lawmaker who is also the  House Committee Chairman, National Intelligence and Security, with a large crowd of supporters and party stakeholders from Kano Municipal Constituency, accused the State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of being behind his ordeal in the party.

Solacebase reports that Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada and Abdullahi Umar Ganduje have not been the best of friends even at the just concluded local government elections in the state, the lawmaker alleged that the primary election was a fraud orchestrated by the party leadership in the state answerable to the governor.

He has been criticizing Governor  Abdullahi Umar Ganduje over incessant land grabbing in the state.

Recently in a viral video, Sha’aban Sharada expressed disgust over actions of the governor with carved out at Eid praying ground, cemeteries, schools and markets for personal use and dole out for cronies.

The member who was visibly angry in the video alleged that the governor did not even spare hospitals across the state in the land grabbing.

Meanwhile, Sha’aban Sharada recently raised alarm over threat to his life

“They know I’m coming but they left the venue on the instruction from above but whatever, i will continue to be loyal to APC and my mentor President Buhari,’’ Sha’aban Sharada said.

‘’They are doing all these because I aligned my self with Buhari but they will fail in the soonest.’’

I’m a loyal party man, as a member of the House of Representatives, I’m a stakeholder of my party; I don’t see any reason for instructing the revalidation committee members in my ward to leave just because I’m coming to participate in the exercise. I don’t deserve that.

I’m calling on the leadership of the party to do the needful, this is causing more harm than good to the party at a time when the National Caretaker Committee is doing its best to reconcile some warring factions and members of the party ahead of future elections”.

The lawmaker has denied making any move to defect to the PDP saying that he will not abandon the party of his mentor President Buhari but will work hard to ensure the success of the party at all level.

“I will not leave the party of my mentor, those that are persecuting us in the party are doing so because they have an agenda of leaving the party for their selfish interest.”
