The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, on Thursday emerged as the consensus candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Kwara South Senatorial District in the 2019 general elections.
Reports indicated that he was affirmed by delegates from the seven local government councils of Kwara South Senatorial district at the zonal primaries held in Omu Aran.
Abdulfatah Ahmed is in his second term as governor of the state and served two term as commissioner for finance with budget and planning under Bukola Saraki from 2003 – 2011.
