A Kano High Court on Monday issued an order for the arrest of Chairman, Kano State Public Complain and Anti-corruption Commission Muhuyi Magaji Rimigado.
In the order of the presiding Judge of the court, Justice Muhammad Yahaya ordered the AIG Zone 1 in Kano to arrest and produce Muhuyi Magaji Rimigado before the court on 18th July, 2018.
The court said it gave the order in its last adjourned date which remain valid until set aside noting that the Contempt nor Muhuyi Magaji Rimigado refused to appear in court hence contempt proceeding cannot be heard in the absence of the Contemptnor .
Solacebase recalled that the suit that led to the contempt is a case filed by Hajiya Farida Tahir against MuhuyiMagaji as the first defendant, Kano State Public Complain and Anti –Corruption Commission, second defendant ,Attorney General of Kano state ,third defendant and Accountant General of Kano state as the fourth defendant
