Dignitaries from all works of life have continued to visit the hill-top mansion of former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (IBB), who is marking his 80th birthday on Aug.17.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that notable among early callers at the house was former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who arrived at the hill-top mansion at about 10.15 a.m.
NAN reports that Obasanjo came to IBB house with a long convoy of vehicles.
Others included former Minister of Defence, Gen. Aliyu Gusau, and former Director of Military Intelligence, Gen.Halilu Akilu.

Journalists who gathered to cover the event, were, however, politely prevented from entering the IBB mansion.
There was the presence of both uniformed policemen and plain cloth security agents at all the entrances of the gates leading to the house. (NAN)

I read with disbelief, the interview of former Head of State, or former President, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, wherein he criticized President Muhammadu Buhari’s handling of corruption in Nigeria.
In the interview with Arise TV, IBB as he is popularly called boasted that he fought corruption better than the current administration of Muhammadu Buhari.
Babangida said individuals who worked under him were saints, compared to those in power now.
