The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) on Saturday elected new Executives that will pilot the affairs of the Kano/Jigawa District Society for the next one year.
The Kano/Jigawa District Society of ICAN at its 47th Annual General Meeting elected Kadiri Mohammed as Chairman, Dr Umar Farouk Abubakar as Vice Chairman while Abdullahi S.G. Shehu is the new General Secretary.
Others also elected include ,Habib Ayuba as Treasurer, Mohammed Sadiq Sheik Financial Secretary ,Salisu Haruna as Technical Secretary , Hadiza Abdlkadir Buhari is the Social/Publicity Secretary and Musa Saidu Bala as Assistant General Secretary
The ex-officio members are Garba Muhammad Dutse, the Immediate Past Chairman, Ado Muhammad Abubakar Past Chairman and Dr Nura Musa Dakata also a former Chairman.
