The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has elected new executives for the Kano /Jigawa and district of the society.
Solacebase reports that Abdullahi S.G Shehu emerged as the district Chairman of the 40th Executive Committee Members for Kano/Jigawa & District Society in an election conducted over the weekend.
Other elected executives are Salisu Haruna as Vice Chairman, Habibu Ayuba, Deputy Vice-Chairman, Bala Sa’idu Musa as General Secretary, Hadiza Abdulkadir Buhari as Treasurer and Jamilu Abdullahi Daihur as Financial Secretary.

Also, the others include Mohammed Sadiq Sheikh as Technical Secretary, Modesta Agu as Social/Publicity Secretary, Ahmad Tijjani Habibu as Membership Secretary and Shehu Ali as Assistant General Secretary,
The ex-officio members are Dr Abubakar Umar Farouk, Immediate Past Chairman, Kadiri Mohammed, Past Chairman, and Garba Muhammad Dutse, Past Chairman and Christiana Oluranti Lawal, SWAN Representative.
