The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky is on his way back to Abuja following lack of a breakthrough in the impasse that ensued in his treatment in New Delhi.
This was confirmed by the Secretary of IMN’s Academic Forum, Abdullahi Musa on Thursday.
Musa said:” It is true Sheikh El-Zakzaky is on his way back to Nigeria. This is because he was denied access to doctors that examined him here (Nigeria) hence knew his medical condition better. The Shiekh also complained of the tough security situation he was placed under.
In a video message obtained by Solacebase the Sheikh said it was decided that they will be taken to the airport to be flown back to Nigeria. He left Delhi by 5.00 PM Nigerian time.
