INEC begins media accreditation for 2023 general election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commence accreditation for journalists and media organizations who wish to cover the forthcoming general elections.
SOLACEBASE reports that information from the commission website said, the accreditation would be conducted only online as manual accreditation is not allowed.
The portal opens from Thursday January 5th and closes on Sunday February 5th, 2023.

It said interested media organization that wish to deploy journalists to cover the election are by this notice expected to apply via: https://imap.inecnigeria.org
The statement added that late submission shall not be entertained as the portal will automatically shut down on Sunday 5th February, 2023 at 5.00pm.
The commission urged those interested in the accreditation with enquiries to contact the following numbers, 08033141836, 08033802792 and 08032861058.
