IPMAN lauds NNPC for stabilising oil industry amidst COVID-19 pandemic

The independent petroleum marketers association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has praised the management of NNPC for their steadfastness ensuring that despite the near-collapse of oil prices created by the pandemic the oil industry in Nigeria did not buckle.

Addressing journalists in Kano on Tuesday, IPMAN Chairman, Kano Branch, Alhaji Bashir Ahmad Danmallam lauded the leadership qualities of the Group Managing Director, NNPC Mallam Mele Kyari and his team for their doggedness and eagle-eyed alertness to the way the pandemic was threatening the world economy as it relates to Nigeria.

Alhaji Bashir Ahmad Danmallam reiterated that the NNPC took Swift measures and were in constant touch with all of us stakeholders which ensured constant and uninterrupted supply and distribution of petroleum products across the country.

The IPMAN chairman further commended the GMD and his team for their tireless efforts in interfacing between them and various state governments which ensured seamless and hitch-free movement of petroleum products and services stations Nationwide.

The IPMAN chairman further praised the humanitarian efforts of the GMD of NNPC in lending a helping hand through corporate social responsibility by donating billions of naira worth of equipment and supplies to help fight the pandemic.
