The independent petroleum marketers association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has commiserated with the family, management, staff and Group Managing Director, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation NNPC Mallam Mele Kyari over the death of the immediate past Dr. Maikanti Kachalla Baru, after a brief illness in Abuja and has since been buried on Saturday 30th May 2020.
The condolence message was signed by IPMAN Chairman Kano Chapter, Alhaji Bashir Ahmad Danmallam on Saturday.
The IPMAN Chairman described the late Maikanti Baru as a consummate technocrat who served the NNPC and the country with dedication, and fear of God, stressing that his absence would be greatly missed by his family, the NNPC and Nigeria as a whole.
Alhaji Bashir Danmallam, in the message, further prayed that the Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings and grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
