The Abducted Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Medical Practitioner, Dr Bashir Zubayr has reunite with his family in Kano.
Dr Bashir Zubayr, a Paediatrician Consultant with Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital was reunited with his family 48hours after his abductors set him free.
He was abducted alongside two of his younger brothers, and a younger sister at Irepeni 20km West of Lokoja July 3rd along Lokoja — Okene federal highway.
It was reported that the incident occurred on his way to Okene in Kogi state with his siblings for the 40th day prayer of their late mother.
A source told Solacebase Dr. Zubayr was set free by his abductors after a ten million naira ransom was paid.
Speaking with journalists at his Naibawa residence in Kumbotso local government area of Kano, Dr. Zubyr appreciated well-wishers and the good people of Kano for standing with him in times of need.
