Bandits have abducted students and teachers at the College of Agriculture and Animal Health in Bakura, Zamfara State.
The deputy registrar of the college, Mallam Aliyu Bakura, confirmed the development to journalists on Monday.
He said they killed four people including one policeman and three guards.

“Last Sunday night around 10 pm they entered and opened fire and took away 15 students, 2 staff and a teacher and his wife and two children,” he said.
Mallam Aliyu said the attackers Bandits were very numerous and climbed the wall and spent more than two hours in the school firing.
Meanwhile in Kaduna, bandits have abducted about 20 students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation at Mando, close to the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna State in March 12.
Solacebase reports that this is coming a week after the abduction of 12 aviation staff at their quarters in Kaduna not far from the forestry college.
A source told Solacebase that the attack took place around 1.00 am on Friday morning.
The source said in a gun battle between the military and the bandits, the army rescued 156 students and they have been moved to the barrack.
