Former Chief Medical Director, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, AKTH, Prof. Abdulhamid Isa Dutse is dead.
A family source told Solacebase that the medical expert died on Monday night at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.
The source said the former CMD would be buried tomorrow morning, Tuesday after funeral prayer at Alfruqan Jumu’at mosque, Alu Avenue, Nasarawa GRA by 10.00 am.

Prof. Abdulhamid Isa Dutse is survived by two wives and children.
Prof. Abdulhamid Isa Dutse attended Government College Kano from where he proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained his MBBS.
He was a Consultant Physician at Ahmadu Bello University, Teaching Hospital, Zaria from May 1991 – Mar 1992.
Also, in 1997 he became Chief Consultant Physician at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where he rose to become the Chief Medical Director from July 2003- 2011.
Prof. Abdulhamid Isa Dutse similarly worked at Department of Medicine, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
