JUST IN: Nigeria COVID-19 cases exceed 36,600 with 556 new infections

Nigeria has recorded 556 new cases of COVID19 with 11 deaths in the country, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The health centre announced this on Sunday in a tweet.

It said till date 36663 cases of the deadly disease have been confirmed, after sample tests of 212,201 conducted.

According to the tweet, the 556 new cases reported from 18 states including FCT are – Edo(104), Lagos(97), FCT(70), Benue(66), Oyo(61), Kaduna(38), Plateau(28), Osun(19), Akwa Ibom(14), Rivers(13), Katsina(13), Ondo(13), Ogun(6), Kano(5), Nasarawa(4), Gombe(2), Ekiti(2), Borno(1)

Solacebase reports that 789 deaths 15105 cases have been discharged and 789 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
