The Ondo State Assembly Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun and his deputy Iroju Ogundeji have been impeached.
The impeachment of the speaker and his deputy which took place on Friday was endorsed by 18 out of 26 members of the Assembly on Friday over gross misconduct.
Meanwhile, Olamide George has been sworn in as the new speaker while Abimbola Fajolu is the new deputy speaker.
