Kano Anti Graft Commission Develops New Strategy To Fight Corruption

Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission says it accords high premium to Public engagement in its fights against corruption

The Chairman of the Commission Comrade Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado stated this during the opening session of a 5- day finalization of the Commission strategy, monitoring and evaluation training holding in Dutse Jigawa State.

He emphasized that although the commission carry out investigation and prosecution of corruption, public engagement helps in discouraging people to partake in corruption activities

A statement signed by the Commission Director Special Assignment and Communication Usman Bello said the Chairman noted that the organization has a good working relationship with all the Federal Anti-Corruption Agencies  as well as civil society organizations operating in the state.

On his part, the representative of European Union Mr Emanuel Uche, hailed Kano state Government for its continued support to the state Anti-Graft Agency which he described as the major pillar of the achievements so far recorded by the administration.

He said when the new strategy is developed, Kano will maintain its leads among its peers in the country

On his part, the Emir of Kano Malam Muhammad Sanusi II represented by Katikan Kano and District Head of Albasu, AIG Bashir Albasu,(RTD) commended the Chairman of the Commission for rising the name, image and prestige of the Agency with robust and commitments in executing his assignment.
