Kano State House of Assembly has invited a commissioner nominee, Idris Garba Unguwar Rimi to appear before it for screening as a member of State Executive Council on Wednesday.
The Speaker, Abdulazeez Garba Gafasa at plenary on Tuesday read a letter sent to the House by the state Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje which contained three nominees, one for commissionership, others as member Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC).
Abdulazeez Garba Gafasa said, the governor presented Idris Haruna Geza and Aisha Abubakar Bichi as commissioner nominees in KANSIEC.
The House after deliberation on the matter, invited Unguwar Rimi to appear before it tomorrow, Wednesday for screening, while, the issue of the other two nominees, were referred to House Committee on Election Matters.

According to the house, the committee was expected to report back on Monday with its report.
