Kano lawmaker to train, empower over 100 women, youth on poultry farming
As part of efforts to eradicate poverty and empower women and youth, House of Representatives member, representing Tarauni Federal Constituency, of Kano State, Hon, Hafiz Kawu Ibrahim (OON) has scheduled a two day poultry farming training for over 100 beneficiaries in his constituency.
A statement issued on Wednesday by Special Assistant Media and Publicity to the lawmaker, Bashir Suwaid urged interested applicants to obtain the form free at Hafiz Kawu Ibrahim constituency office located at farm centre adjacent Marhaba Cinema, Kano.
It said submission of the form closes on Thursday, October 13th, 2022.

According to the statement, the beneficiaries after the training would be given starter pack that include, cash grant of N50,000, Broilers/Layers starter feed of 25 kg, 3 bags, Drinkers, (Chicks) 5 pieces, Feeders (Chicks) 5 pieces, Boilers/Layers Chicks, one carton and Broilers/Layers Finishers Feed, 25 Kg, 3 bags.
The statement noted that the two-day capacity training on poultry farming would commence on Friday and ends on Saturday.
