Kano state government has emphasized the need for Alternative and Complementary Medicine Practitioners Association of Nigeria to align themselves to best global practice for effective, safe and efficient service delivery has been stressed.
The Executive Secretary Private Health Institution Management Agency (PHIMA) Dr Tijjani Usman Aliyu made the assertion on Monday while receiving the Kano branch association who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
This was contained in a statement issued by Public Relations Officer, Kano State Ministry of Health Ismail Garba Gwammaja and forwarded Solacebase.

The statement said Dr Usman who expressed appreciation for the orderly manner the association present themselves, yet urged them to key into the global best practice service delivery through the agency for improvement and accuracy of their practice.
”Dr Usman further explained that the government would not condone any act of insubordination or incompetence in health-related issues because of its uniqueness and sensitive nature as he enjoined all and sundry to observe the ethics of the profession for successful operations,’’ said the statement.
The statement noted that Chairman Alternative and Complementary Medicine Practitioners Associations Ma’am Adamu Bello says they were at the agency to update the executive secretary about the activities of the association and to seek for collaboration with the agency for effective dissemination.
It added that the Chairman assured of the association readiness to abide with regulations of the agency and ensure all its members are registered with the agency including Islamic medicine for better working relationships.
