Kano threatens sanctions against defaulting private health facilities

Kano State Government has threatened to sanction private health facilities defaulting in payment of their registration fees for 2020 on or before February, 15th.

This was contained in a statement issued by Kano State Private Health Institutions Management Agency (PHIMA), Executive Secretary, Dr Usman Tijjani Aliyu on Monday and sent to Solacebase.

The statement said the agency task force in collaboration with security agents will shut down defaulting facilities outrightly commencing from February, 15th.

It, therefore, appealed to such facility owners that fail to settle their payment within the stipulated period to evacuate their patients to other private hospitals that are operating legally or to public hospitals by Friday 12th of February 2021.
