Kano urges residents to protect projects against vandals
Kano State Government has appealed to residents to continue protecting projects situated for their benefits in the communities against vandals.
The State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy, Affairs Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo made the call while inspecting completed and ongoing projects in Rano, Kibiya and Bunkure local government areas.
A statement issued by the Ministry Public Relation Officer, Farouk Ghali Masanawa , on Wednesday ,said the Commissioner represented by the Director Planning Research and Statistic in the ministry Alhaji Ismaila Musa said the inspection is aimed at ensuring that the projects are carried out to specification.

‘’Alhaji Murtala Garo assured that the government would complete all the projects across the 44 local governments’ areas within the contract period, ‘’the statement said.
‘’The completed projects inspected include a class room block at Baguro in Kibiya local government as well as drainage at Barkum and the construction of class rooms at Bunkure town while in Rano , the commissioner inspected a bridge at Lifurawa.’’
According to the statement, in their remarks, the chairmen Bunkure local government Alh Abdurrauf Na Dabo Barkum, Kibiya Alh Alkasin Abdullahi Shike and Rano , Alh Muhammad Dahiru Ruwan kanya thanked the state government with its developmental stride.
