Kanwan Katsina felicitates Comfort Eyitayo as 57th ICAN President

The Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara has facilitated with Mrs Comfort Olajumoke Eyitayo on her recent electoral victory as the fifty-seventh President of the Institute of Charted Accountants of Nigeria ICAN.

This is contained in a congratulatory letter sent to the newly elected ICAN President on behalf of the people of Ketare District signed by the District Head Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara.

Solacebase reports that the Institute of Charted Accounts of Nigeria is the apex accounting professional body in Nigeria.

Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara said her appointment was not surprising considering her antecedents, incredible in-depth experience as a charted accountant and also her immense contribution to the accounting profession in Nigeria and beyond.

Mrs Eyitayo before her election was the vice president of the Institute of Charted Accounts of Nigeria ICAN and has served in various capacities in her career as an accountant.

The Kanwan Katsina said the people of Ketare District are proud of her great accomplishment and will continue to pray for her success in the enormous responsibility to the nation.

Kanwan Katsina Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara and Mrs Eyitayo are Alumni of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies NIPSS Kuru, Jos and both have bagged the mni award.
