Idris GarbaJahun Kareka on Thursday emerged Speaker of the Jigawa State House Assembly.
Kareka, a member representing Jahun constituency was the immediate past speaker of the assembly.
Also, Suliaman Musa Kadira, member representing Guri state constituency emerged as the deputy speaker.
The duo were elected unopposed and immediately took their oaths of office and allegiance.
