The Kano Electricity Distribution Company KEDCO has said that there will be a Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) planned 12-hour power outage.
A statement issued by KEDCO management on Saturday said the outage will commence from 7.00 am to 7.00 p.m. on Sunday.

The statement said the outage is to enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria to relocate some of its towers along the Kaduna-Kano 330KV transmission line, to pave the way for the ongoing construction of the Kaduna-Kano railway line.

‘’We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences this may cause, while assuring you that normal supply shall be restored as soon as the work is completed,’’ the statement said.
