The Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council, in Kogi State, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe is dead.
It was gathered that the late chairman was confirmed dead around 4:30 am at a hospital in Lokoja, where he was rushed to after he slumped at his residence.
SOLACEBASE reports that the gubernatorial election in Kogi is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, 2023.

The paper said sympathizers were seen trooping into his family house on Friday morning at cantonment areas of Lokoja to condole the family over his sudden demise.
He was said to have been involved in a series of political meetings ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
“Doctors confirmed him clinically dead around 4:30 am on Friday”, said a family member who craved anonymity.

A family source said the deceased will be buried at the Unguwan Kura Muslim Cemetery after Juma’at prayer.
He is survived by his mother, wife, and children.
