As part of efforts to further strengthen the relationship with Nigerians, organizers of Spanish Laliga on Wednesday commemorated with Nigerians as they celebrate “World Hausa Day.”
Solacebase reports that World Hausa day was first celebrated in 2015 focusing on the importance of the language.
The Spanish top-flight league body revealed this on their official Facebook page as the world celebrates Hausa language speakers across the globe.
It will be recalled that Arewa radio in Kano signed an exclusive partnership deal in August 2019 to broadcast live Spanish Laliga in Hausa.
