LG Polls: KANSIEC assures physically challenged persons of inclusiveness
Kano state independent electoral commission (KANSIEC) has restated readiness to ensure inclusiveness of physically challenged people in the discharge of its activities.
KANSIEC Chairman, Professor Garba Ibrahim Sheka stated this while receiving the leadership of the Kano State Chapter of Association of People Living with Disabilities who visited him on Thursday in his office.
This was contained in a statement issued by KANSIEC Public Relations Officer, Dahiru Lawan kofar Wambai on Thursday.

The statement said Prof. Garba Sheka who appreciated members of the association over their performance in the last local government polls, informed them that the commission would give any of their members wishing to vie for either chairmanship or councillorship post in the forthcoming local government polls slated for January 16, 2021, free forms.
According to the statement, the State Chairman of the Association, Mal Abdulhamid Suleman Muhammad Dakata said their visit to the commission is to familiarize with the management.
‘’Our visit is to introduce our members to the management and notify you that most of our members are graduates of various disciplines, hence there is ability in our disability, ‘’said the statement.
The statement said Abdulhamid Dakata urged the commission to consider members of the association in any engagement for them to contribute their quota in developing the state
