Dambatta local government council in Kano state on Thursday suspended its education secretary, Nasiru Ali Fagwalawa, indefinitely.
The Council Chairman Idris Haruna Zago announced the suspension in a statement issued and signed by Zonal Information Officer , Dambatta Zone, Ali Abdullahi Garko on Friday.
The statement said the suspension was with immediate effect.

It directed the suspended Council Education Secretary to handover to the next officer in rank to him
The statement did not disclose the reason for the suspension of the officer
Solacebase recalled that the Council Chairman Idris Haruna Zago was also suspended last year by the Kano House of Assembly under the leadership of the impeached Speaker Abdullahi Yusuf Ata, though the suspension was not effective.
