Lockdown: List Of Approved Supermarkets To Open On Monday-Thursday In Kano

Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje announced the easing of the lockdown in the state over COVID-19 on Monday and Thursday from 10.00 am -4.00 pm.

While announcing the measure, Ganduje said Yankaba and Yan lemu markets would be open on the two days and some stores and supermarkets.

However, the state commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba on Sunday announced the list of approved stores and supermarkets.

The approved list of stores and supermarkets to be opened form 6 local governments in the metropolis are as follow

The commissioner urged the operators of the supermarkets and store to ensure social distancing among the customers and provide hand sanitizers to prevent spread of COVID-19.
