The Nigerian Medical Association has elected new executive members that will pilot affairs of the NMA in Kano State for another two years.
The election took place during the annual general meeting (AGM) held in Kano on Saturday.
Dr Usman Ali emerged the new NMA Chairman on Saturday after an online election to observe the Covid-19 protocol. He takes over from Dr.Sunusi Muhammad Bala who led the association for two years.
This was announced in a statement signed by the outgoing public relations officer of the NMA Kano branch, Dr Nura Abubakar and made available to Solacebase.

It said others elected executive members include Dr Zainab Abdulkadir as vice Chairman 1 and Dr Tijjani Garba Magashi as Vice Chairman 2, Dr Abubakar Nagoma Usman as Secretary and Dr Nura Hassan Aminu as Assistant Secretary.
The statement noted that other new executives include Dr Ashiru Hassan Yusuf as Treasurer and Dr Nura Aliyu Muhammad as Public Relations Officer among others.
