Osun Crisis: Alaafin, Ooni move to reconcile Tinubu, Aregbesola
The two highest ranking Yoruba monarchs, Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi and the Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, met with Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in one of the private residences of the Alaafin in Ibadan, with a view to putting a close to the rift between Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
According to sources close to the palace, the reconciliation moves is going on well and as intended, and both parties have shown interest in putting their differences behind them and moving ahead in the interest of all, Osun and Yorubaland.
Solacebase reports that the rift between the APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola came into open during the party governorship election held recently in Osun state.
It was gathered that the meeting was held at a private residence of the Alaafin of Oyo in Ibadan, and lasted for about two hours.
Sources said after consultations, the leaders agreed to move to the next stage of the meeting which will be held at a later date.
