The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund, Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba (rtd) has expressed sadness over the deplorable conditions of Bompai police barrack.
The former IGP who was disturbed with the conditions of some buildings that have never been renovated since their construction in the 70s, vowed to improve the welfare of officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force for effective service delivery.
A statement issued by Kano Command Spokesman DSP Abdullahi Haruna and forwarded to Solacebase on Monday said Suleiman Abba expressed the feeling on Sunday during an inspection and assessment of the current conditions of the Bompai Police barrack.
